for the house they grew up in
the café from your first date
a mother’s day gift she’ll treasure forever
that magical spot on your honeymoon
the front porch where he proposed
the lake house with all the memories
a farewell gift for the home you're leaving behind
the view from your favorite vacation

I’ve loved to draw and paint for as long as I can remember — it’s always been a part of me. Now, as a mom of two sweet boys, I’m especially grateful to be creating in this season of life that’s full of love, chaos, and inspiration. Painting has become more than a passion — it’s a way for me to connect with people and the moments that matter most to them. I feel so honored every time someone shares a piece of their story with me. Whether it’s a childhood home, a wedding venue, or the place two people first met, I do my best to capture the emotion behind the scene. It’s a joy to turn those memories into something lasting
When her parents had to let go of their sweet Massachusetts home, it wasn’t just about selling a house — it was about closing a chapter. After her father suffered two strokes, the family moved to Florida so he could receive long-term rehab care. While it was the right decision, it came with grief, especially for her mother, who had to say goodbye to the place that held decades of memories.
As a Mother’s Day gift, she reached out and asked if I could paint their old home — a way to give her mom something tangible to hold onto. A piece of the past, preserved in watercolor.
This is the soul of custom art: turning memories into something you can touch, feel, and treasure.
What started as a simple breakfast date turned into something unforgettable. Justin picked Riverside, not knowing it was her late father’s favorite spot — the place he used to take her and her brother when they were little.
She didn’t even know they served breakfast. Funny enough, Justin used to work there in high school.
Now, it’s become their place. They still go once a month, imagining her dad smiling down, probably wishing he could have a slice of pizza.
Because some places don’t just hold memories —
they become part of the love story.
Last May, she lost her grandmother — a woman who had been the heartbeat of their family. This house was her sanctuary, a place she loved with every fiber of her being. Now, it carries even more weight.
Three generations have grown up within these walls. It’s where life unfolded — where stories began, laughter echoed, and new chapters took root.
Honoring this home through custom artwork became a way to keep her grandmother close. A celebration of legacy, love, and the spaces that hold us.
Letting go of a loved one’s home is never easy. After their sister passed, this family had to say goodbye to a place that held so many pieces of her — her spirit, her stories, her warmth. Their real estate agent, who had walked alongside them through the process, gifted them three custom paintings as a way to honor that space.
One of them shared:
“This painting brought me to tears. I will proudly display this beautiful picture of my sister's home on the wall of my home and hopefully it will remain in my family for generations to come.”
After their home was flooded during Hurricane Helen, repairs brought the structure back — but not the sense of safety. The fear of another flood has made it impossible to stay, and now, they’re preparing to say goodbye to the place they love most.
This painting became a way to hold onto the beauty, the warmth, and the memories made inside those walls — even when they couldn’t keep the home itself.
Because sometimes, a painting is more than art.
It’s a goodbye. It’s a love letter.
It’s a way to never forget.
